TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
1.
My Teaching Purpose
My Purpose to be a teacher is to Increase
Insight and Always Learn
For a teacher, teaching is a joy while
learning is a necessity.
Non-monotonous work
For me, teachers furthermore create an
active and creative classroom with various activities both indoors and outdoors.
Playing an Important Role for the Future of Others Being a teacher, you will be
considered a figure to be imitated, as well as a role model.
Flexible
Working Hours
Being a teacher is not all about school,
but it can still be balanced with family life. This tends to be different from
office jobs where it is difficult to find free time on weekdays.
Longer
Holidays
As the admin has said in point 4, this
fifth point can occur because usually the teacher's teaching hours at school
will follow the student's study schedule.
Practice Patience
Becoming a teacher requires strong
determination and the desire to continue learning. Especially when facing a
variety of students with different characters.
Channeling Your Love for Children
Becoming a teacher can certainly channel
your love by mentoring, teaching academic-non-academic values, and morals to
children.
2.
My Teaching Style is Communicative
Approach
Why this Approach appeal to my teach than
others Because using this Communicative Approach method is essential in
educating in an educational environment that uses communication to learn and
practice the target language through interaction with each other and the
instructor, studying "authentic texts" (those written in the target
language for purposes other than language learning), and language use both in
the classroom and outside the classroom.
For example, we have learners talk about
personal experiences with their peers in class and instructors teach topics
outside of traditional grammar areas to improve language skills in all kinds of
situations. It is also claimed that this method can encourage learners to
incorporate their personal experiences into their language learning environment
and to focus on the learning experience, in addition to the learning of the
target language and that is why the communicative approach is so important in
my field of teaching in the classroom as well as outside the classroom.
The specific idea from certain approach l
like
Communication: activities that
involve real communication promote learning.
Tasks: activities in which language
is used to carry out meaningful tasks that support the learning process.
Meaning: language that is
meaningful and authentic to the learner boosts learning.
3.
Teaching Technique
Scaffolding Technique because
that provides temporary support and guidance to students as they learn new
concepts or skills.
For example, the teacher
asks questions that guide students' thinking and help them explore a topic or
concept. These questions can encourage critical thinking and problem-solving.
For instance, in a literature class, the teacher might ask, "What do you
think the author was trying to convey in this passage?"
4.
To support my idea l will give
some examples l hope you are enjoyed to reading this article.
The communicative approach prioritizes
teaching language in a way that mirrors real-life communication. This means
focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing in authentic contexts,
helping learners acquire language skills they can use in practical situations.
Scaffolding Technique Example: In an elementary school, students are reading a challenging novel. The teacher conducts a guided reading session, breaking the text into smaller sections and discussing the plot, characters, and themes with the students. After guided reading, students participate in book club discussions.
