How do you manage your classroom and meet students' different learning needs

Greetings and Happiness

In this case, we encounter a lot in the classroom because all students are different in character and nature, so how do we overcome this?

The first thing we must do is not to show favoritism to the students, in other words, we have to love all the students and understand all the needs of the students both in nature, economy, and problems of these students.

In this case, there is a term that says that the teacher is the second parent of our students, especially if we are a class teacher, this is where we will give more love and affection to the students.

Keeping our emotions is very necessary in teaching, for example, if there is a student who is rebellious or even naughty and does not want to do his studies, in other words, against the teacher.

How do we change the student?

First, we must get closer to the student and ask what is wrong with the problem faced by the student, provide understanding, and what he will get if he is always naughty and does not listen to the teacher.

and this, I believe that when the teacher tries to provide direction and find out all the reasons and problems of the student then I am sure he will change if we as teachers as teachers, provide a good understanding that can change the student's mindset without violence.

How can a teacher manage a classroom and meet the different learning needs of his/her students? It is an interesting question that needs to be studied before answering. As teachers, we know and believe that the students in our classrooms are very diverse. For example, the differences can be seen in their interest in learning, the knowledge they have, their hobbies, their family's economic situation, their speed in understanding a lesson, and so on.

One of the ways that a teacher can manage a classroom and meet the needs of different students is by implementing differentiated learning. What is differentiated learning? Quoting from Module 2.1 of Driver Teacher Education, Differentiated Learning is defined as a teacher's effort to adjust the learning process in the classroom to meet students' individual learning needs. In addition, differentiated learning is defined as learning that provides flexibility for students to increase their potential according to their learning readiness, interests, and learning profiles.

So, what does differentiated learning really look like? Differentiated learning is, in fact, a series of sensible decisions that teachers make that are oriented toward the needs of students. These teacher decisions relate to the following

A curriculum with clear learning objectives

In this case, it is not only the teacher who must be clear about the learning objectives. But also, the students must be clear about the learning objectives.

How teachers respond to their student's learning needs

In this case, how do teachers adjust lesson plans to meet students' learning needs? For example, teachers need to use different methods, different resources, and different assignments and assessments.

How teachers create a learning environment that invites students to learn and work hard to achieve high learning goals.

In this case, teachers work to ensure that every student in their class knows that there will always be support for them throughout their learning process.

Effective classroom management

This is how teachers create procedures, routines, and methods that allow for flexibility. While flexible, of course, it is clearly structured. So, even though students may have different activities, the class will still be able to run effectively.
